Juan Rando Dance Academy - Latin & Swing Dance Classes Perth: what do users think?

Justine Belcher: Have really enjoyed learning Cuban Salsa over the last year with Bret, Louisa and Wendy. All the teachers are so welcoming and passionate. They have made every lesson so much fun and go the extra mile to help you improve.

Michiel: I love learning to dance here.

Dhishan Perera: Excellent dance academy to learn and improve your dancing skills. Great location in Subiaco next to restaurants and train. The studios are spacious and well setup with speakers, mirrors and lighting.Great teachers for all the styles such as. Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Tango, West Coast Swing and Kizomba.

Jay G: Great quality dance classes and coaching

Stephanie Brown: Even after a decade of learning with Juan, I still am amazed by how much depth of knowledge he has about dance technique and proper human movement

Tom Akizuki: I’ve been coming for just over a year and it’s been awesomeThe teachers are great and put in extra effort if your struggling to help with the dance moves to get your groove onThe people there also have a great time every night of the week and the place is always full of laughter and good positive energy. Also, One of my favourite parts is the classes are really well planned and structured, that even a guy with two left feet like myself, just by turning up, can become an ok dancer with a bit of consistency. If your thinking about dancing I would recommend giving this place a go, as you will have a great time and meet some cool people, and learn a skill that will last you foreverEmbedded in the lifestyle of partnered dancing is an amazing culture which fosters love, respect, humility and appreciation. A great thing to be a part of

Jesse Barkwith: A beautiful place situated in an amazing location. From my time there I have had wonderful experiences where I have learnt, laughed and enjoyed every moment. I would highly recommend and if you're interested in visiting to definitely do so.

Michael Davey: Excellent private lesson with the wonderful Juan and Stephanie!

Andreas I: I recently attended La Fiesta class/social. Visiting instructors from Spain gave an excellent class! Both the class and social dancing was well attended with a relatively even mix of leads and follows. I don't take regular lessons here however staff and students always make me feel welcome at this event. Quality sound system and great facilities for social dancing!

Johan Flórez Nevado: I highly recommend this salsa class to anyone seeking an authentic and enriching dance experience. With fantastic music, welcoming staff, and a diverse range of dance styles to explore, it's a place where you can not only learn but also have a great time! THANK YOU!

Danza Pasion: what do users think?

Kayla Baillie: We had the wonderful Kristina to teach my husband and I our wedding dance. We didn't want to do the traditional slow dance, we asked for something fun and entertaining that we could dance an Elvis song to 🕺🏼 Kristina nailed it. She taught us a slow jive and it was such a hit at our wedding! So many guests commented on how much they loved it and how fun it was to watch. We had the best time learning and really enjoyed going to our lesson each week. We were actually upset when the lessons were over! We hope to return soon to learn more fun dance styles. Highly recommend and Kristina is amazing!! ❤️

Katherine Czarniak: Loved our dancing lessons with Julie, who choreographed our mashup wedding dance. She taught us five different styles to suit the various pieces of music we blended together for our big day with patience and a smile. My husband had no prior dancing experience but with Julie’s guidance he nailed every dance move and looked like a pro. Our guests were so impressed with our dancing skills they’ve been inspired to take up dancing themselves! Cannot recommend Julie and the Danza Passion team enough.

Lesley Williams: Highly recommend Danza. All instructors are very welcoming and patient. You are always met with a smile and enthusiasm. Classes available to all levels.

Sophie: Julie is a fabulous teacher who helped us bring our wedding first dance together in only one week, incredible! We had so much fun, thank you!

Bettina D'souza: I enjoyed my dance lesson, & the environment. The instructors are friendly & good at what they do. Julie & Adam Dicamillo obviously enjoy teaching dance & do it to a perfection.I would definitely recommend my friends, to this professional dance studio.

Jessica O'Neill: I cannot speak highly enough of our incredible dance instructor, Adam. When my husband and I decided to have a first dance at our wedding, we were both quite nervous, especially considering my husband's hesitance when it comes to dancing. Little did we know that Adam would not only help us choreograph a beautiful first dance but also turn it into an absolute joy and something we looked forward to.From the very first lesson, Adam made us feel at ease with his warm and friendly demeanour. He understood our first dance vision and tailored each lesson to suit our individual abilities and comfort levels. What impressed us the most was how he managed to make my husband, who is usually a reluctant dancer at best, genuinely enjoy every single lesson. Daily first dance practice quickly became the highlight of our day, and going to our lessons with Adam was something we looked forward to and enjoyed every minute of.Adam's teaching style was patient, encouraging, and understanding. He broke down each step with clarity and demonstrated remarkable skill in conveying the movements in a way that we could grasp easily. His passion for dance was evident in the way he taught us, and it was infectious, making us feel excited about mastering each new element of the routine. What really stood out was Adam's ability to tailor the choreography to suit our personalities as a couple. He didn't just teach us a set routine; he took the time to understand our relationship and incorporated those elements into the dance, making it feel uniquely ours. With Adam's expert guidance, we felt confident and graceful during our first dance. When the big moment arrived at our wedding, we were beaming with pride as we performed the dance we had learned with such enthusiasm and joy. The dance itself was enjoyed by all of our guests and was a highlight of the evening! If you're looking for a dance instructor who not only knows his craft inside out but also brings enthusiasm, patience, and a personal touch to his teaching, Adam is the one for you. He turned what could have been a nerve-wracking experience into a truly delightful and memorable journey. We are incredibly grateful to Adam for making our first dance so special and unforgettable. He truly made our wedding day even more extraordinary, and we will forever cherish the memories of that dance.

Luisa Rizzi/Erneste: It's been more than 20 years since attending dance classes with Danza Pasion choosing to do Latin and absolutely loved learning this style. It was always so much fun during class and the teachers were a couple that were Champion Ballroom & Latin dancers. I loved that after classes it was open for social dancing for whoever wanted to stay on and practice...it was always so much fun. After recovering from a recent spinal issue which has left me with limited flexibility I wondered if Ballroom Dancing would assist in strengthening my back. When I discussed this with Julie she was very encouraging and assured me that it would be beneficial. Although I have known Ballroom dancing for many years I chose to attend the beginners class taught by Julie. She takes great care in watching that everyone moves with correct posture which was great for me. The movements were moderate and succeeded in completing the five week term feeling positive for my back. Met up with some old friends that were there also and the social interaction during and after lessons makes it so much fun. It was really lovely to see some young couples that were learning for their Wedding and Julie had lots of special tips that will make their Bridal dance a performance everyone will be amazed with.Next week is the beginning of a new term and am loving it so much that I am continuing Ballroom Intermediate and also attending Latin Beginners to refresh the steps I learnt at Danza Pasion so long ago and also to learn the Bachata which is new for me.If you are thinking about it then just do it! You will be learning from the best and everyone is given the attention and made to feel important from Beginners to Advanced. You will love it!

Justin Casella: We had about 10 private lessons with Julie leading up to our wedding. Julie created a bespoke Viennese Waltz routine for our chosen first dance song. Although my wife is a dancer I knew basically nothing to start with, but with Julie’s instruction we managed to learn the routine and put on a great show at our wedding. Julie is patient, professional, makes the lessons fun, and clearly has a lot of knowledge and experience.

Silvia Marangoni: Lots of fun and you leave the first lesson thinking Wow, I can actually dance!! 😅They explain very well and follow you even if you are in a big class 😉💃🏻🕺🏼 and you can go alone or with your partner or a friend !

Alice Saldanha: who was unable to continue on with the entire program.I however decided to continue and thoroughly enjoyed myself. A big thanks to Maria Marchesani who offered to partner me for the rest of the sessions.Maria was very patient, understanding of my slowness at times, to pick up some of the moves, but always encouraging until I got it right in the end. A big 'thumbs up' from her every time I got a dance right, made me feel even more confident. Thanks Maria for your patience and your years of experience which reflects on the way you handle your students.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Danza Pasion to any beginner wishing to learn any form of dancing in a fun filled environment with Anne and her team of instructors. They are simply amazing.

Paul Gray: A friendly professional place where all levels can learn and have fun.

Sarah Warren: We had private lessons with Adam during the lead up to our wedding, and it was absolutely fantastic! Adam payed attention to each of our levels of ability and helped us to learn salsa, and put moves together to form a salsa routine for the wedding. Our guests were blown away!! We enjoyed the dancing so much, that we now seek out salsa clubs when we're away so we can use our dance moves, and learn even more!!! Thanks so much to Adam and Danza Pasion for making such a big impact on our lives!!

Court M: If you’re wanting to learn to dance then look no further than Danza Pasion! My husband and I wanted to surprise our guests with our wedding dance and it went perfectly thanks to our dance teacher Adam! We can’t thank him enough! Neither my husband or I are dancers AT ALL and somehow Adam was able to teach us a dance to a modern song of our choice that made us look great! We had 5 lessons and Adam planned each lesson perfectly to build our confidence up and not to mention we both had a lot of fun learning and practising! Thanks so much again Adam, you made everything so fun and easy, we will definitely be recommending you and the team at Danza Pasion to anyone looking for lessons.

Esther Power: it was not leotards

Milena Iacusso: What a wonderful experience with Danza Pasion, I already knew how to dance but I wanted to tidy up my feet placement and posture and learn from professionals.

Carmelo S: Really enjoyed my first lessons at Danza Pasion do much that I'm still dancing. Teachers are great, really experienced and patient!

Glenn Dicker-Lee: , the instructors would provide a little more focus to them as necessary. The classes are great and very easy to follow / pick up, even if you're a flat out new starter, as I was. Everyone down there is upbeat and very friendly which is an added bonus. Highly recommend joining in if you're looking to learn some dance moves 👍🏻
