Have cuddling area but the a lot of guinea pigs are jumpy, so we left them alone. Good place to bring your family and couple. Lucy G: Beautiful heritage area - although we did not come for the actual Farm Cottage tour. We came for High Tea at the Tea Garden. Lovely setting with the option to sit outside overlooking the lawns and river. Service was good. A good selection of loose leaf tea and infusions. Lots of food on the a High Tea service tray which was impressive and quite yummy. However when the tea arrived in the silver pots the handles were wrapped in a paper napkin which looked really odd and cheap. It was meant to be a protective barrier but it didn't last long and we were left trying to deal with a very very hot handle. Also, the weight of the tea pot requirs you to put your hand in front of it as well, but it's on the hot metal so you can't. Suggestion would be proper tea cozies for the tea sets which allow guests to serve their own tea when they want to refill their teacup.

Ray Ireland: Was a great venue for daughters wedding.

Gavin Fitzgerald: We held our wedding at the Perth City Farm barn and courtyard and couldn't have been happier. A lovely venue with lots of atmosphere. Organising a wedding is a huge endeavour and the team at PCF made it so much easier with their help, always answering questions right away and with tons of detail. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!Dog-friendliness: PCF are dog-friendly! Our dog was our ring-bearer and then joined us for the reception!

Bruce Angell: Perth City Farm is the highlight of my week, but I need to go to the Saturday Market, I think that would be great

Russell Shanahan: I really liked and ran by warm friendly people.

Dion Warnock: We hired the Barn, Kitchen and Courtyard for our wedding and we could not have been happier. It had the relaxed urban garden vibe we were going for, and each of the spaces was perfect for our needs. The ceremony in the garden, and then we pulled back the huge barn door to reveal the party space. The kitchen area is perfectly set up to support catering vendors and the barn was an excellent canvas for us to make our own. It looks so good with lighting and a dance floor. The staff were excellent, even when Covid got in the way and moved our original dates. Would hire again. Thanks for all your help Perth City Farm!

J. A. “Neen” Wells: Great place

Francesca Perino: LOVE my trip to the Saturday markets. I do my weekly fruit and veg shop here, the produce is certified organic, super fresh and not any more expensive than a supermarket.Great, relaxed vibe means you can chat with the producers and feel part of the community, rather than shop in fluro lit aisles.

Rachel D: . Nice art & garden & Café.

Sarah Almo: It is a beautiful farm with sweet strawberries

Neal Loh: Guaranteed sweet strawberries every year! Always a good place to bring the kids to.

GooseDove: went there to gain ancient knowledge on the nature of strawberries, was met with potential victims of human trafficking. questionable business ethics, but great service.looking forward to my next visit, hopefully next time i will find the esoteric wisdom i seek

Taein Kim: It was amazing place for my family and me.To be honest, I went to another strawberry farm today, but there were so many people and I could't see the strawberries I wanted to pick, so I just bought strawberries. It was really cramped without strawberries. And when I came here, there were lots of strawberries in a large place, and the strawberry taste was also sweet. Please come in.I am really happy with the strawberry farm.

Gumleaf Cottage Farmstay: what do users think?

Kelly Cook: We just returned from 2 nights stay at Gumleaf cottage with our 8year old and 3year old. We fed all the animals, went on pony rides, collected eggs, had afternoon naps, the kids played in the gardens, it was wonderful. Cathy was kind and helpful with everything we needed. The kids loved it and can't wait to return. The accommodation was clean with pretty decor and a homely feel.

Zara Llewellyn: We stayed four nights at Gumleaf Cottage. We cannot fault the farmstayOur boys loved the animal feeding, horse and tractor rides and the ability to free range all over the property.Cathy was a fabulous host, so welcoming with an abundance of low Al knowledge.

vickie leung: had the best time joining in with the daily hay ride, animal

Bryan Ng: We stayed at Cathy's farm for four nights and highly recommend this accommodation to families with young children. The children can participate in daily animal feeding in the morning and the whole farm is kid-friendly. You will have to drive though as the farm is difficult to reach by public transport, but only a 30-min drive from Perth. Will come back again.

Aivonne Chong: We had a wonderful stay at Gumleaf. We loved that it is only a 30minutes drive out from the airport. The cottage was also located to many nearby groceries, malls and restaurants.Nearby activities: Great location with access to groceries and family-friendly restaurants

Andrea Ong: . The rooms are cleaned, refreshed and refilled. There is an induction cooker and microwave which you could dish up simple meals. The beds are on the softer side but good enough for a couple of nights. There are toys, books to keep the kids entertained. The water heater was stable and toiletries, fresh linen, hair dryer were also provided. More importantly, we are thankful to Cathy for providing us with a baby tub so that our littlest could have her soak in this chilly winter. The overall farm experience was great. My girls both went on the pony ride, with my eldest on Missy and youngest on Mickey. All the animals on the ground are very friendly towards both adults and young children - especially their dogs Teddy and Lara. Feeding is usually done in the day and we had Evie who brought us around

Lyanna Wong: ! Very family-oriented with lots of toys, books and games, a high-chair, playground, trampoline etc., all of which my kids thoroughly enjoyed. Their favourite part of the experience had to be the daily animal feeding, cuddling the bunnies and guinea pigs, the hay rides with Evie

Catherine Wallace: I recently stayed in the Manor for a few days with my 3yo and 10mo. We had such a great time!Gumleaf Cottage Farmstay is perfect for little kids - the accomodation is set up with toys, games and a high chair; the farm has play areas with ride-on toys, swings, slides and a trampoline. Cathy is a wonderful, warm host who made sure we had everything we needed - including a pram to use around the farm. The Parkerville Tavern is minutes away and also has a great playground and good meals. The highlight for us was definitely feeding the animals with Evie each morning. She was so good with the kids - really patient and kind. My 3yo loved riding in the hay trailer behind the quad bike. I loved that it’s only a 40 min drive from the city, while still feeling a world away. We’ll definitely be back for another stay - and hopefully for longer next time!

Candice watson: We had the best family get away here over Easter at the cottage. It was so cute and cosy. It is small but surprisingly it didn’t both us at all! Was nice to sit together as a family around the fire. I don’t normally write reviews but we had such an amazing time and experience I just had to. Cathy went above and beyond to make our Easter memorable for our kids. The animals are gorgeous and you can tell are very well loved. Planning on going back with our friends and their small kids soon

Mohd Fauzi: and need to queue to take the first egg in the morning, then do not come to this farm.Come to this farm only if you want meet the charming owner Cathy & Teddy and assistant Evie. You get to take the first eggs in the morning, feed Moomoo, Mickey, Khai, Olive and Missy. You get to cuddle Sprinkles and Cinnamon. Feed and look Mr Mouse in the eyes every morning and then belly rub Possum.Yup, we remembered the animals names coz of the close encounters we had. 1 more day and we would get all the sheeps names!Stroll along the orchard at your own pace. Lots of stuff n playground to keep any kiddos entertained. The farm is about 30 mins from the airport and near to Mundaring n eateries. Blessed enough to visit the monthly Mundaring markets and the gorgeous Lake Leschenaultia. Thanks Cathy for the headsup!Seriously, come and meet the lovely owner Cathy. And discover the secret location where the hen stashed her eggs from us!Thanks Cathy!

Chapel Farm Estate: what do users think?

Holly Simeoni: We had our wedding at the estate at chapel farm and would highly recommend this venue. Our wedding coordinator Katie and the team that brought it all together were so helpful and accommodating and brought our vision to life so perfectly. The food is delicious and the venue is absolutely beautiful, there’s so many things that you can do with the space. On top of this, the vineyard surrounding the estate and the chapel near the river make the most magical backdrop for photos. 10/10 recommend

Jen Nguyen: . We were offered the stage platform to elevate the bridal table - it's dramatic and makes a grand impact!! The venue is gorgeous - our guests were blown away by the beauty of the grounds and inside the church barn. Packages include a lot are great price-wise. We had the long-table/banquet option for food. Our non-asian guests raved about the food and thought it was great. There was plenty of food so no one was hungry or had to run off to maccas afterwards

Alix Bray: We had our wedding in the old part of Chapel Farm in March and it was absolutely perfect. Maddy and Katie made our day run so smoothly and pulled it all together so much better than we could have imagined. We have had nothing but compliments from our guests on the food and the venue since our wedding. Katie was also very easy to email and work with in the lead up to the wedding.

Yvonne Sharpe: I wish I had taken photographs. This is a hidden gem on Toojay Road. There are so many aspects to this fabulous venue. There was a spectacular wedding reception in progress when we arrived.... we just had a sneaky peek. We sat in the gardens outside of the tapas bar and had a fantastic selection of food to choose from. We shared home made fresh pizzas and a glorious bottle of wine. The staff are so friendly and helpful. A definitely must visit.

Karen Walker: Wedding xx stunning location x below average coordination

Sit Tran: After my second attempt here i found the place to be absolutely amazing amzing mt boys gave the pizza 1000 stars. The staff are so friendly The manager went above and beyond... im very pleased with the food and the experience.

She was very professional and sympathetic when it came to us making a decision about moving the location of our ceremony due to the weather. I wasn’t stressed at all as I knew Madi and the team had it all handled. Thank you so much for creating the most magical day for me and Dave! Everyone commented about the location and how the ceremony and reception was beautiful and unique. We are truly grateful 🤩

Natasha Pereira: Very lovely place to have special events.

Craig Bozman: – she was on it before we even knew there was an issue! If you're looking for someone to manage your ceremony at Chapel Farm into a fairytale setting, Katie's your girl 👌🏻💪🏼
