Uma Restaurant: what do users think?

James: The service was very friendly, informative & the food came out in good time. All the dishes I thought were well presented & full of flavour. The steak was cooked to order perfectly and the Dhufish was very nice with a decent serving size. The potato stack was well presented & also tasty! Very satisfied with the experience overall & I would recommend to anyone👊

joanne liddelow: Omg... Most amazing food ive ever had, knowledgeable, thoughtful and attentive staffThankyou so much for making my birthday celebration so memorable

CK Goh: We enjoyed a lovely anniversary dinner here, the waitress explained the menu well and we opt for ala carte as we are small eaters. The pisco sour cocktail is true to its name and along with the ceviche really stimulated our appetite. Next up we have the grilled octopus which was exceptional. Our mains were the beef skewers and 350gm steak which we felt was a bit too large a serve and should have gone with something else instead of double beef. The complimentary shortbread with caramel and chocolate sauce writing Feliz anniversary was the cherry on top of a memorable evening.

Melanie Andersen: Had an amazing meal here with an amazing maître d'. Our waiter recommended an amazing wine and the maître d’ made sure we finished on an excellent dessert wine.Could not fault a single part of our evening, our favourite dishes were the scallops, salmon, and octopus. Will definitely be returning!

Shabnam Sarjami: Amazing service and lovely food, thank you!

Lydia Pethick: Fantastic experience. Excellent service throughout - attentive, friendly. We chose the “journey through Peru” to celebrate milestones - anniversaries/ birthdays. Lovely variety of food, flavourful, including generous portions of mains. All was delicious but we especially enjoyed the Nikkei Salmon, Pulpo a la Piedra, Papas a La Parmesana and Lomo Saltado. Kitchen also flexible to adjust for food preferences. Highly recommend and we will be returning in the near future.

Hannah Parker: We went to Uma for my partner’s 50th birthday. It absolutely exceeded all our expectations. The food was unbelievable. We are all foodies and can honestly say it was some of the most delicious food we have ever eaten. The staff and service were exceptional. Very knowledgeable about the menu and made the most delicious pisco sours. They even brought out a surprise birthday dessert for my partner. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back.

Kaige Silcock (Mozart): Great little place ! Excellent service by JulianaFirst course of the snapper was a touch fishy but was still good! The octopus was brilliant! The egg yolk bread recommend by Juliana was awesome and the steak was absolutely perfect

Tsukaya Restaurant: what do users think?

hody ch: The sashimi was reasonably well flavoured, the ponzu sauce was the highlight.

Scott Sandon: I think this was the best meal I’ve ever eaten.Scallop tiradito: the scallops were high quality, the sauce and garnishes complimented them very well, but I think the yuzu was slightly overpowering. Overall would recommend for scallop loversAssorted tacos: the shells were satisfying and very crispy, and were neither too delicate or too heavy. All four fillings were absolutely delicious. Between my partner and I, it’s difficult to choose a favourite of the four.Wagyu tataki: sometimes wagyu is not worth the hype or price, but in this dish it makes the difference. The sear on the beef was enough to lend that grilled flavour, but we were still able to enjoy the raw wagyu which was delicious. The garlic chips, spring onion and spicy radish was a perfect accompaniment and we spent considerable effort constructing perfect bites for every slice of tataki. We enjoyed this so much we started laughing between bites.Assorted sashimi: this dish is what sealed this meal as the best I’ve ever had. I have never had octopus prepared as perfectly as this. It was so tender, and my partner and I agree that Tsukaya’s octopus has set our standard for what octopus can be. As mentioned before, the scallops were quality, but the salmon and tuna deserve special shoutouts as well. The fish was cut quite thick for sashimi, and I think this really allows you to appreciate how good the fish is. As well, the wasabi was quite pungent and the shredded radish was a fantastic palate cleanser between items.Umami fries: honestly, they were pretty standard chips. The umami seasoning was good but it wasn’t as impressive as the other dishes. But chips are chips, and these were chips. And at a perfectly normal price for chips.Tsukaya fried chicken: the flavours were there, the crunch was there, I enjoyed this dish. It was nice to have something pretty substantial to follow up the delicate dishes we had before this. I would wonder if there is a better way to get sauce onto the chicken, though. Having a dish of mayo to dip the chicken into didn’t really allow us to get the chicken sauced very well. Pretty minor critique, but it was something I thought about.Octopus anticucho: Tsukaya’s perfect octopus returns! In the most clearly Peruvian-influenced dish of the meal, we got to really appreciate how well-cooked the octopus is at Tsukaya, with delicious salsas and beautiful seasoning just elevating everything. The crispy potatoes would’ve been appreciated even more than they were if we hadn’t also ordered chips haha. All these dishes were beautiful. I cant stop thinking about them. But also to be commended is the service we enjoyed. Our first dish came out quite quickly, and dishes were served one after another with the table cleared frequently and very little waiting between dishes. We were very looked-after and very well-fed.Such a fantastic experience for what is such a reasonable price. I’ve absolutely paid more for less food that was less impressive. I dream of the day I return to Tsukaya.

P C: Australians have become quite discerning regards the subtleties in Japanese cuisine, certainly a huge jump from the early 70's with courageous chefs from Japan bravely introducing, raw fish, exotic sauces, strange looking dishes and presentations.Tsukaya incorporates traditional and new, with experience and skill learnt from centuries of cuisine artistry. With several visits, the menu will still challenge you to explore furtherThank you

Anubhav Verma: Lovely casual atmosphere. Some hits and misses with food - the miso black cod is amazing, as were the octopus and kingfish. Highlights and well worth a look into!Thank you for an enjoyable night!

Sen5Es Restaurant: what do users think?

Kylie Warnock: Between the three of us we had one vegan and one coeliac. The food was excellent, the vegan roasted cauliflower was superb and one of the best restaurant meals I’ve had in Perth. Gold stars to the chef for a much appreciated effort. There were about 20 people dining, with two waitstaff who were pleasant and professional but the service was slow for both drinks and food. Eventually we had to cancel our dessert order. The menu is well rounded. The arancini were delicious, beef cheeks meltingly tender and the black Angus fillet beautifully done. Unusually, one of our party was unable to take the remains of his meal home, no containers could be provided. Parking onsite was very reasonable at $8.We’ll be back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan plus others

Alex: In my opinion, this restaurant in Perth is a must-try. On a weekday, we had lunch here. Aside from the ambience, the cuisine emerges as the clear victor in this case. Not simply for appearances, this presentation is quite delicious and of the highest calibre. The restaurant completes a full rotation in around ninety minutes, which was quicker than we anticipated based on how quickly it moved. Instead of being too slow to be noticed, as I had anticipated, it isn't. Fantastic!

Beevey Stephens: I took advantage to order the $150 for 4 pax and bought bottle of wine as well. My Family enjoyed the dinner. We opt for the main and dessert for our 2 course meal.We loved the food. The service and the simple ambience. Quiet relaxing.

Dale Bailey: The atmosphere was good and the food tasted good as well.

Jeremy Smith: Top quality meal and exceptional service, pleasant jazzy environment, would not hesitate to go back

Lalla Rookh: what do users think?

Seyda Anna Collins: The service is also impeccable and they have an extensive wine list and selection of whiskeys, gins and cocktails. Wonderful atmosphere and the variety of seating/areas mean it is suitable for everything from a cosy dinner date, to after work drinks, a dinner catch up with friends or even a great spot to wine & dine business clients. Oh and I must mention their amazingly delicious freshly baked bread
