Heidi Steinmann: Fantastic robotics short course. Our 10yo daughter came home super motivated and thinking about a career in engineering for the first time. Thanks Lab61.
Hassan Sajjad: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
rachel mckinlay: My 10 year old son attended the Lab 61 school holiday 4x day robotics program. He had such a fantastic time. He came home everyday excited and so enthusiastic to go back the next day. He was challenged with the amazing fun activities and made some new friends. He learnt so much and got to see some truly amazing robots, build robots and learn more coding skills. He also loved interacting with the engineers and made it feel 'real'.He keeps asking if I've booked him in for another program over Christmas holidays which we will be doing. Best program he's ever attended and would definately recommend to other keen kids.
Michelle Grassi: My son recently completed the Lab 61 Robotics Academy over the school holidays. It extended his programing knowledge and exposed him to some developing and state of the art robotics technologies. He came home each day excited about what he had seen and done.
Kripa Shankari: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueIt is a fantastic way to spend the school holidays. This program is a mixture of many elements like Industrial exposure at young age, Team playing, Developing professional skills and most importantly having fun. My son is looking forward to future sessions with Lab61.
Narender Elapavalore Subramanian: Lab 61 is the best place for young children to learn about Robotics. My son participated in the Robotics program and he has developed a strong interest in the subject since then. He is already looking forward to the next session. I believe the students can learn lot of important things like - playing as a team, improving concentration, staying focussed, improving communication skills and much more. I highly recommend this program. Thank you Lab 61 for the wonderful opportunity.
Brian Hornsby: Positive:QualityGreat robotics learning experiences. The sumo wrestling project was particularly fun to watch!
Sam Perez: Hands down the best institution to accelerate your understanding of advanced inspection methods and the use of Robotics for industrial inspections. Highly recommended!
D: Positive:CommunicationAwesome outreach for young minds
Kerry Smith: My daughter did the July program, and being a people person and a humanities girl we weren’t sure if she would like it. She’s never been a fan of maths, but on the last day she came home asking if she had to be good at maths to be an engineer? When I replied yes she went to school and asked her teacher to help her improve her maths so she could be a robotics engineer. Totally inspired! This is the way to improve female participation in STEM!
