From our first interaction with the staff, it was very clear that they are very passionate about animals and of taking care of them. Our dogs were in for daycare and we were shown where they would be for the day and they had photos for us when we picked them up so we could see how much fun they had.. very much looking forward to dropping them off again for another fun filled day!

I was told about this place by a few people , I took my Bruce there he is 10 month old chow and he came back exhausted and slept the whole night which was great .Bruce is high energy and needs lots of exercise and sometime I don't have enough time to take him out as regularly as I do . I take him there on a regular basis now and he was so excited to see the staff and the dogs. I drop him off in the Morning and pick him up late afternoon and he loves it. Its great socialisation for him and good exercise. If you are struggling to take your dog out then drop him here for the day, it's $17 And I promise you, you won't be disappointed. The staff are lovely and you can see they have a real passion for animals. Thank you!

We are so pleased to have found this wonderful boarding kennel. Having a soft natured but slight boisterous rescue dog we were apprehensive about going away at Christmas and leaving him in the care of others. The wonderful ladies at Dogz & Catz retreat have been working with us to ensure that Fred will be comfortable and well looked after during his stay this Christmas and so far he has been enjoying his weekly day care (and first time night boarding visit this week), he comes back home content and relaxed after his day out. It really meant a lot to us that Naomi gave us a follow up call after his first sessions to update us on his progress and reassure us he is in good hands. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best care for their pets.

The staff at Dogz & Cats retreat are fantastic! my Boy is social funny (fear reactive) but coming here he plays and makes new friends it's amazing how he's so happy here around all the doggies and looks forward to daycare each week. I don't trust a lot of people with my baby with him being reactive I'm protective of him but I trust this place 100% with how well cared for he is with his needs and won't take him anywhere else!


Highly recommended for big and small dogs. We have a 15yr old Chihuahua, 4yr old Lab and 2 yr old English Staff. They all love it. The bigger dogs stay together in the big dog area. Dogs are always happy and clean when we pick them up from boarding. Their Day Care service is also recommended.


Our dog Cooper just loves coming here. we've tried a few different doggy daycares around the area, but this is definitely her favourite. As soon as we rock up she jumps out of the car without a glance back and she's off to play with all her best friends. being able to just drop off her and not having to pre-book suits my schedule and makes it easier for me to fit her into extra days when I have the time last minute to bring her in.

Caillou and Dawn Totally love your day care.. I only have to say “Day care” and Dawn runs to front door sitting patiently while Caillou pulls out the leads from the dog box and drags them her door and sits waiting ... They come home with huge smiles and eat then sleep (deep dreams about the day) thank you thank you thank you

Located in a quiet area, most of their enclosures have windows or natural light, and there are large enclosed outdoor areas for your cat to roam, scratching posts and toys. Denise & her staff take care of your animal as if it’s their own. The staff at Larrakeyah are fussy when it comes to a clean and safe environment, as well as providing excellent nutrition to your pet.
