Jen Kaz: master pieces are proudly displayed on my wall.

Kelly Hammond: What an experience! I’ve tried learning paint pouring from videos and tutorials on YouTube etc with no success. But within the first hour of this workshop Jackie had guided us through some basic techniques to create a beautiful and unique piece. We then went on to learn more advanced techniques to deliver two more artworks - one of which I already want to frame and display! I am buzzing with creativity and ideas and have already ordered my own paints to do more. Jackie is so encouraging and the space is welcoming, warm and relaxed. I was given the session as a gift and I am keen to pay it forward as a gift to another family member. Highly recommend!

Carole Ash: My daughters and I attended a candle and soap-making activity at House of Hobby. It was very well-run. We were warmly welcomed by Alexi, and invited to enjoy a relaxing morning, and to leave every day stresses at the door. There was tea, coffee, fruit juices and mimosas on offer, alongside a grazing platter.Emily started us off with instructions for making the first candle, and after weighing the wax, we set about melting it, before adding a scent, and then leaving it to solidify. The whole 3 hour session was run at a relaxed pace, and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and would recommend it to anyone. We came home with 3 candles and 4 bars of soap, all handmade by us.

Brenda Schiavoni: Such a beautiful space, friendly host, and Felicia's guidance meant that we all walked away with fabulous stained glass daisy window hangings 🌸🌞

Malini Parker Visual Artist and Art Classes Perth: what do users think?

Jayne Lynch: Great class. Well presented, informative and a lot of fun

Petra Caskey: Positive:ProfessionalismThe most enjoyable and arty 2 days you can possibly have. Warm encouraging and embracing environment . The knowledge and inspiration that you get is priceless. Malini's studio in the hills is perfect for immersing yourself in your art…You are the best Malini.

Diane Baldwin (Starbee333): is by far my favourite. I really enjoy Malini’s process - she puts her heart and soul in her workshops. The people, the place, the processes are exactly what any art enthusiast will love! Malini, your workshops have been so heart provoking for me. I love your heart centred way of teaching. I feel very grateful for what you bring.”

Colleen Linsley: "What a lovely way to spend a Sunday learning and painting in a gorgeous venue in the Perth Hills. Malini is a kind and inspirational teacher. Her teaching steps are thorough and allow for exploration. She guided each person to develop their own creativity. What a joy!"

Allison Gerrard: This was an incredible workshop for beginners with all the materials provided to create 4 wonderful pieces of art to take home. From the beginning Malini welcomed us into her home as a treasured guest where she has created a wonderful environment to learn in. The class was structured, informative and well laid out with clear instructions provided for completing each step of the process. Malini is an inspiring teacher with a warm heart and the innate ability to bring out the best in her students. I’ve already been to the art supplies store and stocked up so I can continue what we learned and create more. I highly recommend this class and will be signing up to do more of Malini’s classes.

Carina Uehr: Malini’s courses are always a delight. I’ve done them ALL, over a period of 9 years and I keep coming back. She creates a beautiful container of joy, creative energy and safety, where each member of the group feels seen and supported - regardless of skill level or previous experience. Her teaching comes directly from the heart, with authenticity and deep experience, in both life and art.

Naghmin Rohani: The workshop was an amazing and inspiring experience. I found myself in a friendly and supportive environment. Highly recommend it to everyone!"

Julie Gordon: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value"It was a totally awesome day, I learnt lots and it was just what I needed. The ladies there were all really nice and you were amazing! Patient, thoughtful, helpful and fun. I couldn’t ask for a more lovely teacher."

Karen Green: A great beginners workshop, it was everything and more than what was promised. Having all the materials provided removes any uncertainty about lack of knowledge if you had to buy materials or whether you would ever use them again. We learnt a lot in one day and yet it didn't feel overwhelming. Malini is a very welcoming and encouraging teacher, she is well organised, and provides a lovely atmosphere and environment to learn in. I came away feeling happy with my artworks and inspired to create more! ... I woke up this morning after dreaming about textures that I could create. What a wonderful way to wake up, feeling inspired and thinking of ideas that I might expand and explore... Thank you so much for creating such a welcoming and inspiring environment to learn in and for sharing your knowledge, ideas and your 'beautiful soul'. I would love to keep in touch and hopefully come to more workshops! So happy I came along!

Susan Hampton-Mortlock: Such a fantastic day! Malini gently guided us through the process of creating 4 beautiful pieces of art. I was initially feeling a bit anxious, but the clear step by step instructions allowed me to relax and enjoy the process. Malini’s warm and encouraging personality, set against the backdrop of the breathtaking hills forest made my first formal art class unforgettable. I look forward to creating more art on my own, and going back to learn more. Thank you so much Malini for opening your home and your heart to us yesterday. I came away not only with a new desire to create art, but a feeling of peace and healing."

Laura Lowe: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,ValueMalini makes everyone feel at home in her beautiful studio and inspires the inner artist in everyone to fly free. I would highly recommend taking one of her workshops, there's no other art workshop in Perth like Malini's.

patsy may randawa: Malini, You are an INSPIRATION. You are also so lovely and patient.I love your studio and surrounding, and even your beautiful home, and not forgetting our Gorgeous Ruby, she's just as lovely as her Mummy.I had no confidence at all when I started the class but by god I totally enjoyed my journey with you and my team mates. Thanks profoundly Sweetheart.

Marie Wilkinson: " Hugs, Marie

Sally Douglas: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueHighly recommend Malini's art workshop. She is a beautiful teacher who is great at guiding people in new techniques without making them feel like total beginners. Great way to spend a day exploring some creativity + A gorgeous relaxing location and plenty of chocolate!

Alana Rowick: I really enjoyed my Painting for Beginners class with Malini. The studio setting was absolutely stunning and we had such a lovely group of people to experience the painting journey with. I also learnt some amazing techniques I now feel confident enough to try on my own at home. I would highly recommend a class with Malini!

Maxine Smith: I was very nervous before the class, I have dabbled in art but I had lost my enthusiasm. We were made to feel comfortable & welcomed from the start, Malini’s warm smile & enthusiasm put us at ease. The technique’s we learnt opened new doors to being creative & relaxed with our creations. Malini taught us so much in a short space of time. Malini’s studio is such a beautiful space to work in & her dear dog enjoyed us being there. It was a truly wonderful inspiring day & all the class members were encouraging & I would recommend anyone & everyone to take this class. I can’t wait to do another class. Thank you Malini.

ange wood: I attended the “Finding your way home” weekend workshop. And what a weekend it was!First of all, thank you Malini for sharing your personal journey, inspiration and your incredible strength. You didn’t just teach me a painting process, you also gave me a way to view the world a bit different. I just couldn’t have wished for anything more. And it was far more than I expected, and will be something I can now inspire myself with. For the last few years I have used painting as a way to relax myself, find more enjoyment in my life, especially through some really tough times. I just didn’t have the painting skills When I found this workshop online, I knew straight away that that was the one I needed to enrol in. And I was right. Even more so than I knew at the time. I found great joy in this new way of finding your creativity and I am pretty proud of what I made. I don’t have enough words to express this, but this workshop literally changed the way I thought about my recovery from depression, my way forward in life and with art. This was truly awesome, amazing, wonderful, inspiring and uplifting!Angela

Michelle PerthAlways: Lovely Malini! Thank you so very much for such a wonderful arty farty day in your beginner's art class! I had so much fun and am so inspired to create more! I have already enrolled into your next class and I'm so freaking excited! Thank you again, this is exactly the type of art and art class I was looking for, and the dogs are adorable!”

Perth Art Glass: what do users think?

Julie Kane: Returning customer great trustworthy buisness! Purchased glass, tools and accessories. Packaging and customer service is great my items shipped from Perth to rural Qld in top condition

Christy Valli: My glass was very well packed and postage was quick!! They have gorgeous colours!!

Kate Stevens: Shopped online with Perth Art Glass. Delivery was speedy from WA to NSW, products all came packed safely and were exactly as I expected. Will order again 😊😊

uaakt: Fast delivery and quality products - thanks very much.

E Ward: . Such speedy service, safely packed, and a free gift!! Thanks guys, highly recommend Perth Art Glass

Malcolm Bland: Went in to buy a glass cutter and received an impromptu course on the basics of glass cutting, brilliant. Really friendly and helpful staff, would definitely recommend.

Kurt Williams: Fantastic store. I usually do online ordering through them. If I ever have to clarify anything over the phone with them their staff are extremely friendly and helpful.

Ashley Wallace: Ian repaired our circa 1890 stained glass doors: the cracked panels were replaced/matched perfectly and the workmanship on the lead grout lines was outstanding. Highly recommended.

simon harris: Great Business to deal with. They have a wealth of knowledge and the most amazing array of glass. On top of that they are friendly to deal with. I always get what I am after when I go there.

Mark Row: Many thanks for the prompt dispatch of our De-Lead. It arrived super quick and well packaged to our Blue Mountains NSW address. It was actually quicker than getting something from Sydney. Will absolutely buy from you again.Mark

Gosia Dudek: . I’m also impressed with your beautiful business card. Thank you!G.D.

Mike Hamilton: was impossible to find and no longer available. Essentially we received a number of quotes but all suggesting that we must opt for a different type of glass for the border, which would mean that the reconstructed window wouldn't match the others in our house. It is safe to say that we didn't know what to do until we started our conversation with Ian at Perth Art Glass. From our first contact Ian was warm, friendly and understanding whilst at the same time professional and as passionate as we were about getting our old window restored. After a few emails and photos Ian provided us with a competitive quotation and said that he was working with his contacts in an effort to source some the seemingly unattainable chickens foot glass for use on the border. A few weeks later Ian came over to our house and inspected the windows and then took away the remains of our damaged window for further inspection. Fast forward a few weeks and we received a call from Ian to say that he had successfully sourced all of the relevant glass and that our window was now rebuilt and ready for installation! We thought it was too good to be true, surely after all this pain it couldn't be that easy? The following week Ian arrived to personally install our window and he did a fantastic job. Ian has worked in this industry for many, many years but he seemed just as excited about our window as we were. It is so refreshing to work with someone that is so passionate about their trade and the standard of their work. The result is that our window now looks as good as the day it was first installed in 1938 and matches perfectly with our original windows. Ian also managed to save a number of sections from the old window and use them in the rebuild which means that history of the home has been carried across to the new installation. We really couldn't be happier with the finished product, the overall service and the genuine warmth and professionalism shown by Ian. I hope that this review goes someway towards conveying just how positive our experience has been. If you want to avoid the cowboys and those that overcharge and under deliver then speak to Ian at Perth Art Glass and you won't be disappointed.

Vicky Maynard: Did a mosaic course just fantastic

Bonnie Hughes: The staff are incredibly helpful! Coming in to get supplies to try stained glass for the first time and they helped me through it all! Thank you!

Galleria Art Studio: what do users think?

Benjamin Herzog: Teacher Torsten is just the nicest person on earth. Great teacher and he will always find something nice in your painting

G O: to develop their skills in a welcoming and creative environment. Torsten is a gifted teacher who helps cultivate each student’s distinctive style—no cookie cutter approach or paint by numbers here. You will learn to see the world in a new way and express this vividly.I’ve done watercolour classes for the first 4 years, then oil painting classes starting this year. Water colour classes gave me foundation skills in visualising and painting but oil painting classes have really helped me develop to a new level in my art journey.

Daniela Andrei: interest and joy in making art. But at the same time, solid foundations are taught and these foundations helped my daughter get into a competitive arts program for highschool. We all love our time at the studio and are looking forward to activities and projects that Mukami and her team will have for us!

Simone Hesse: This studio has been an amazing experience for my daughter, she has been given the guidance to let her creativity thrive and with guidance. It’s a warm and Friendly environment. The art teacher is so kind and caring, and brings out the students talents.I highly recommend the studio, with small glass sizes and expert teachings.

Anne Luobikis: Our ASD daughter has been attending the teen class here for several years now. The students are exposed to many different materials and art styles under the guidance of friendly and supportive teachers. It's so nice to have found an art studio with staff that understand our daughter's differences and she thoroughly enjoys her weekly class. She is learning so much, expanding her skills and brings home some real masterpieces. We totally recommend this studio for anyone wanting to explore their art and get some first-class tuition.

Joanne Steingiesser: My daughter absolutely loves this class! Mukami is the warmest, most engaging teacher. She creates a wonderful environment for kids to learn art that keeps it fun but teaches incredible skills too. I’ve been blown away with the art my daughter has brought home from these classes. It’s the highlight of her week 😊

Anna Uitdenbogerd: Love going to my art class. Best thing I've done for myself in a long time

The Walk-in Dental Centre: We attended the course: so you think you can’t draw. Karen the course teacher was great, we left with a new found confidence in regards to drawing.

Julie Fitzpatrick: A warm, inclusive, welcoming environment with a supportive and creative art teacher, a gift from the gods. Thank you Jacqui my 15 year old daughter is thoroughly enjoying her time in your class.

Maylands Yacht Club: Karen’s approach to teaching drawing is excellent. Her gift to her students is her ability to articulate and effectively communicate the decision making processes she undertakes when demonstrating the tasks she sets. This approach has provided a novice like me with the essential understandings, that engenders confidence, to have a go.

Mel Sims: My daughter Chloe loves coming to art class she looks forward to going to class every week. She has brought home beautiful artwork. The teachers are lovely and friendly. I highly recommend the art classes for any ages. They will love it.

Marne Greenway: I cant WAIT for GALLERIA ART STUDIO to open for the new term-some really EXCITING CLASSES happening here, LOTS of FUN and ENCOURAGEMENT which I have found so helpful on my art journey.....KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK and KEEP ME POSTED on any new developments!!!

Olivia Roberts: I have done one term at Karen's art studio and LOVE IT! I joined because I wanted to do something calming, to find peace and to grow my abilities somewhere. I had never painted before and was in a class with some new people but also some experienced, the gaps in knowledge are great as we all learn new techniques but also bounce ideas off each other. I'm enrolled for next term and am very much looking forward to it!

Ruth Boehm: I had always wanted to have a go at drawing and painting and Galleria Art Studio has been a wonderful place to learn. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and supportive. The instructors are knowledgeable, positive and encouraging.I highly recommend Galleria Art Studio.

Frances Forrestal: Galleria Art Studio is an inspirational environment for anyone interested in art. This place is still inspiring me ten years on. It is an easy choice to attend classes here: enjoy the companionship of like-minded people, enjoy many 'art conversations' and enjoy expert tuition. Not all excellent artists are also excellent teachers, Karen is both! As a teacher myself, I value Karen as a teacher; encouraging always, challenging at times and able to draw on the individual's potential.

Brian Mitchell: What a fantastic studio. A place to escape the madness of the world. A place to learn to draw in a relaxed and friendly environment. Look forward to my lesson every week. A real oasis of tranquility.

ClayMake Studio: what do users think?

Eve Hesford: Great variety of classes and teachers with a well equipped studio. Have done several classes here and discovered a new love for pottery. Everyone who goes here is friendly and creative. Great space to learn and play with clay.

Eva Wen: Just wondering are you guys have phone numbers so I can double check with my bookings? I booked on next Sunday and just want make sure there is two of us.

Studio 281 Gallery: an asset to the community, very well organised and friendly

Bridgette: I totally adored this experience with the ever knowledgeable and welcoming Andrea at play make studio. We thoroughly enjoyed throwing clay. After a few disasters, a few creations were made. We will be back for sure.

Tracy Frawley: I love Clay Make Studio. It's a great vibe and the team are always helpful. I always feel welcome and part of a small community. Hanging out in the space and seeing all the inspiring work being made by everyone around me is so good.

Rachel Yuen: Love this place so much! $75 for three hours of unlimited items to make. The staff are knowledgeable and will teach you well and it’s well priced and valued.

Johnny: Great fun & quite relaxing. Give it a try with someone.

Benjamin Pynt: I've been going to Claymake for just over a year now. I started with a one-off handbuilding course and have been hooked ever since. Claymake has super reasonable pricing and friendly, helpful staff/artists. There's a great camaraderie between potters so advice is never too far away.I love my time in the studio and use the facilities around twice a week. There's almost always a wheel free to get creative with!

Tegan Pridham: I’ve done two courses here, and could not recommend them highly enough. I thoroughly enjoyed learning both clay throwing on the wheel, and most recently I did human body sculptures with Emma. Thank you for such a fun experience, hope to be back again soon!

Carla Marinescu: I have done the Saturday pottery wheel workshop and absolutely loved it. I followed it with the glazing workshop and this was also fantastic. Wendy is a great technician. One of the women who works here was extremely confrontational and unreasonably rude that threw me off. This was unnecessary. Other than that unfortunate experience, the place is great and I would recommend it.

Andrea M: My group of cousins and I did a workshop a few Sundays ago and we loved it, great experience and helpful instructor. It was very free and we were allowed to learn through doing and failing and trying again. We will definitely be coming back for another workshop! And it is very reasonably priced.

Kay Gerard: Great space. Lots of equipment that you can use. People are very helpful. Amazing that you can drop in, use equipment and cost for 2 hours only $10.

diana tinney: Great space. Highly recommend
