We use a non-diet approach which is based on the Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating principles. This approach equips you with the skills to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Through this process, you’ll find how to reconnect with your body, become more aware of appetite and fullness, improve your relationship with food, rediscover the pleasure of eating, and find your own definition of health. This means learning to let go of any food anxiety or guilt and not having to cut out your favourite foods. In other words: no dieting!

When is the best time to start preparing your body for pregnancy?

Is it two years, one year, six months, or three months before? The short answer is – now.

The sooner you can start to nurture and care for yourself (and your future or growing baby), the better!

At least 3 months before can provide a great amount of time to prepare a strong foundation for pregnancy (I call this the Groundwork Trimester). If you’ve got pre-existing health conditions, a little longer may be required.

If you’re already pregnant, then this is ok too! Nutrition support during each trimester of your pregnancy journey can support you and your baby in a powerful way. It’s never too late to start!
