While we have individual kennels & runs, dogs from the same family can be accommodated together during their visit just like at home.


Our smaller guests have a separate and secure small dog boarding zone to prevent any undue stress from being around larger dogs. Raised trampoline beds and full time supervision are provided for all of our dog boarding guests.

I thoroughly recommend this kennel. Not only for their comfortable facilities, but the excellent staff who are knowledgeable and understanding to each individual dog's needs. Also the time they take to give a detailed overview of your family member's stay with them. I put my Shar Pei, Olive, in for boarding (she is naturally aloof with strangers and other dogs as well as being very attached to myself, but the professional team at West Coast knew this is a trait of the breed). She had her free trial stay as well as another one night in the kennel before her 8 night stay. My anxiety was probably worse than hers at the thought of leaving her. But I believe these trials and the staff at West Coast help put this feeling at ease (as well as Olive's). I picked her up after 8 nights and she's as happy as ever. Tired but no issues at all. Will definitely be using their services again in future.

My dog and cat needed boarding as my partner and I had renovations done. We had never boarded our 2 boys before so we had some nerves. WCPC made the process very easy and helped to reduce the nerves of having our pets board for a extended period of time. They provided helpful information and the whole team was very knowledgeable. From our first interaction with the staff, it was very clear that they are very passionate about animals and of taking care of them. Our dogs were in for daycare and we were shown where they would be for the day and they had photos for us when we picked them up so we could see how much fun they had.. very much looking forward to dropping them off again for another fun filled day!

I was told about this place by a few people , I took my Bruce there he is 10 month old chow and he came back exhausted and slept the whole night which was great .Bruce is high energy and needs lots of exercise and sometime I don't have enough time to take him out as regularly as I do . I take him there on a regular basis now and he was so excited to see the staff and the dogs. I drop him off in the Morning and pick him up late afternoon and he loves it. Its great socialisation for him and good exercise. If you are struggling to take your dog out then drop him here for the day, it's $17 And I promise you, you won't be disappointed. The staff are lovely and you can see they have a real passion for animals. Thank you!

We are so pleased to have found this wonderful boarding kennel. Having a soft natured but slight boisterous rescue dog we were apprehensive about going away at Christmas and leaving him in the care of others. The wonderful ladies at Dogz & Catz retreat have been working with us to ensure that Fred will be comfortable and well looked after during his stay this Christmas and so far he has been enjoying his weekly day care (and first time night boarding visit this week), he comes back home content and relaxed after his day out. It really meant a lot to us that Naomi gave us a follow up call after his first sessions to update us on his progress and reassure us he is in good hands. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the best care for their pets.

The staff at Dogz & Cats retreat are fantastic! my Boy is social funny (fear reactive) but coming here he plays and makes new friends it's amazing how he's so happy here around all the doggies and looks forward to daycare each week. I don't trust a lot of people with my baby with him being reactive I'm protective of him but I trust this place 100% with how well cared for he is with his needs and won't take him anywhere else!


Highly recommended for big and small dogs. We have a 15yr old Chihuahua, 4yr old Lab and 2 yr old English Staff. They all love it. The bigger dogs stay together in the big dog area. Dogs are always happy and clean when we pick them up from boarding. Their Day Care service is also recommended.


Our dog Cooper just loves coming here. we've tried a few different doggy daycares around the area, but this is definitely her favourite. As soon as we rock up she jumps out of the car without a glance back and she's off to play with all her best friends. being able to just drop off her and not having to pre-book suits my schedule and makes it easier for me to fit her into extra days when I have the time last minute to bring her in.
