Stefen's Books: what do users think?

Gwenevere Wootton: I came in today huffing and puffing to get a book before close and the gentleman behind the counter was LOVELY. So helpful, incredibly polite and friendly and knows his books! I finally have found my favourite book store in Perth, it's clean, it smells of books and has such an incredible variety of books. I can't wait to spend all my money here! :D

Dezzy D: Incredible selection, super knowledgeable and friendly guy, would recommend Stefan and his store to anybody! He even told us he could ship us our books if we didn’t have room in our luggage!

Lincoln Harris: One of my favourite bookstores, always has a great range, easily marked books, friendly staff who always give arguably the best recommendations out of any book store I've ever visited.

Larissa “Riss” Boaden: Wonderful store, so well laid out, exceptionally welcoming and very knowledgeable. You can tell the staff are SO passionate about what they do. I think I've discovered my new favourite bookstore!

Cody Konior: the books in the store back to front and can discuss them as well as recommending similar books you may be into. The place is always clean and feels fresh and open and it always has interesting stock as well.

Lawrence: Steffen was unbelievably knowledgeable about Sci-Fi and Fantasy books. Very articulate and intelligent but friendly, helpful and informative. If you are a fan of Sci-Fi or Fantasy novels, this is a must visit place. The stock was amazing, they had every book of each series that I was after and the prices were reasonable. I have not seen such a wide variety of 'hard' Sci-Fi anywhere else in Perth.Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed. However I do suggest you visit when it is not so busy if you would like to pick his brains about some good reads.

Sen ectus: This guy is *the man to see* for Sci-Fi/Fantasy. His understanding of the genres is unreal and uncanny. He's also great fun to get into a discussion with.

Pamela Peters: Amazing knowledgeable customer service, wonderful collection of books. Bookworm heaven.

Chris C: Great service and very knowledgeable. I have been a customer for years.

Georgia Claire: This place was a joy. I asked after queer fantasy recommendations and the owner told me about books until my wife begged to go for lunch. He was a delight and it made my day. Ten out of ten would visit again. I bought three books.

christopher nolan: couldn’t have been more helpful and patient as he took time to recommend an Australian crime fiction writer to try to see me through an up and coming long haul flight back to Canada. With that I fell into the world of Emma Viskic and her fascinating character Caleb Zelic. Having devoured Resurrection Bay, the first in the series I now want more! Huge thx. It’s that kind of service

Benny Kenobi: Very kind and knowledgeable shop owner! You can really tell he loves and knows what he’s talking about! Awesome collection of scifi and fantasy books!

Proride Motorsport: If only I have the time.. I would spend it here… 🏽 my favorite kind of book store.

Patrick Bigwood: Went here on a whim whilst visting Perth this week and found inside not only a sizeable selection of great books but an equally great man who assisted my girlfriend and I in picking up some new books when we had no intention of really buying any when we landed in Perth! A very nice, knowledgeable fellow and if we’re ever back in Perth will definitely visit again - my girlfriend and I are sat here waiting for our plane home reading Tender is the Flesh and Alien 3!

David Seaton: Fantastic range; fantastic bloke with unparalleled knowledge and service. Thanks

Veer: Perfect place if you love books. The ambience of this store is immaculate and the range of books available is unbelievable! Definitely coming again.

Katherine Bubbles: What a hidden delight. I was actually going next door but I can rarely pass a book shop without going in. This store had an impressive selection of non-fiction books which is my interest. Well sorted and neat I had no problem finding the section I was interested in my only problem was narrowing it down to just one book. If you’re there be sure to check out the cabinet next to the counter it contains some amazing huge old books and they look so nice I considered purchasing one but didn’t. They are amazing! Physical copies of things are no longer popular but books online are seriously missing an entire part of what I enjoy about books. The smell the pages the experience. Love this store. Keep books alive!!

Ivian Ng: This is a hidden gem! There were so many books, and such a wide collection. They even have a nice corner for the kids as well. The books were also on clearance sales. Definitely should come and support the business especially in this e-book kind of era.

Mark Street: Inviting shop and friendly staff.

Oscar Rymarczyk: Very comfy couch, friendly staff and great music. Feels like it’s out of a movie, classic bookstore vibes. 📖

rymm9: Very comfortable couch, lovely staff and great for kids

Tony Davis: What a beautiful selection of books. Beautiful store. Staff very helpful. Wide range of reading materials. I was looking for a birthday present and found it in your shop. Thank you.

Steve Calnon: Still one of the best bookstores in Perth. Highly recommended for books lovers of all ages.

Rowan Hethey: I love Crow books. I am never disappointed. My go-to for beautiful, unusual books and cards.I plan when I can get there and who has a birthday or event coming up. Open many hours.

Jasmine: Crow Books is one of my happy places and a no brainer of a stop for myself and my partner after dinner on the strip. I love that there is seating to get comfy in; it makes the place feel welcoming when and like you’re actually allowed to look at books before you purchase them. The funky, late night vibe means it’s always a fun trip. We wish the books weren’t so expensive, but we understand that this is the way the world is going. Thanks for being our favourite late night spot!

Grace: Great unique find. This classy bookstore has something for everybody!

Dean Bunter: Great Alternative book store. My favourite.

Travis B: One of the best book shops you'll find anywhere. Has all the genres and niches that you might need

Aaron Raspa: Excellent bookstore, go there to pick up a copy of 'Honey the Bee Goes to Caterpillar University.'

Sarah Kennerley: One of my two favourite book stores in Perth! The staff are always so nice and helpful and even specially ordered some books that weren’t in the shop for me.Their selection of books is always spot on!

Tim Keely: but still great local bookshop

Iro: Gem! .. in the era of digital books and online shopping! Keep it this way.

liberty ray: Love this shop, love the atmosphere. Best sellers are a little pricey when I can get them in generic shops however I buy any niche books here and love popping in just to browse

Denam Ellis: Like blockbuster but for books

Dylan Jayatilaka: Lively second hand place. I like the blind date with a book idea & book wrapped in paper with the theme, but author and title not revealed.

Michael Cheong: Nice bookshop in Fremantle area

Lynette Evans: Absolutely wonderful. Best book shop ever. Authors, books, information etc. All you could wish for.

Hisguardianis Quran: In the middle of all the cafe and restaurants there is this gem. With many types of books, I also love the recommendation from the workers and also the wrapped mystery books. Can spend hours here. Cant wait to come back.

Elizabeth's Secondhand Bookshops: what do users think?

Teddy Hawkins: Great little book shop tucked away in Fremantle. Large range of second hand books. A new favourite of mine

Zach Tesic: Great variety of choice books, staff are helpful too

Darren Butcher: Book lovers paradise

Marquen XU: Good place to buy books.

Linda Neilson: So many books, so little time...

Donald Petrides: Getting blind

Jacie Bleus: Huge range of books for all tastes, lowers the cost if you read a lot & gives the opportunity to try authors you may not see in other shops. Can get vouchers for the bookworm in your family.

Conrad Maclean: One time I bought an accounting book and I got a lot of hate for it from the lady behind the counter. A look of disgust darkened her eyes like storm clouds on a turbulent ocean and she asked with contempt 'why would anyone write that book?' But despite the hate I still walk in there to buy books with my head held high like a man. I recommend the Vonnegut books. They rule. Particularly Harry Bergeron.

Bev Sinclair: Bloody loovly

Douglas Potter: Wonderful bookshop with a treasure trove of diverse material complemented by experienced and helpful staff
