Perth Hills Discovery Centre campground: what do users think?

Peter Gorski: Great campsite

Daniel Marsh: A bit tired and in need of investment but clean showers/toilets. Great campsite for overnight out of Perth.

Judy “JM” Day: Nice place

Johnny: this camp ground is so niceI never had experience before good place like thisI went to many campground but not clean more than hereI think facility is best here!

Kyle Springer: . Facilities include showers and toilet blocks. There’s a kitchen area with an electric kettle, toaster, fridge and freezer, and two park-style gas BBQs. Makes for a simple camping trip and I found the grounds and facilities well-kept and clean. Campfires allowed in concrete fire pits when there are no bans. I brought my own firewood but the camp hosts had bags of jarrah for sale. Perfect camping option for families and even younger children. You can’t drive directly to the campsite so if you have a lot of stuff consider bringing a wheelbarrow or cart to help tote your gear from the car park. Otherwise it’s not too far to carry things if you pack relatively light.

david lee: Fantastic little place, perfect for individuals or large groups

Reece Werrett: Great events there

Susan Flavel: Nice area

Christian B.: Very welcoming, very clean. With very comfortable equipment available: hotplates, fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle. For tents only. The strong point: located in a magnificent forest with many paths.

Danelle Moeke: Great place to stay! Great facilities. New shower and toilet block. The amenities are fantastic. The shared outdoor kitchen was great. Definitely going back with the family in tow

Raymond Fls: Great camping grounds for first time campers or families. Kitchen equipped with BBQ, fridge, hot water. Showers and toilets are very clean. The ground for tents is a bit small though for big tents

Discovery Parks - Swan Valley: what do users think?

Gary Newsome: Great little site, great location. We will be back for sure.Location: 5/5 …

Ai Ling Ong: It was new and clean. Totally satisfied with the cabin 401. There are cooking utensils, fridge, stove, oven and microwave.Families with young kids might want to move the knives to higher level.Otherwise all is good.Highly recommend to get a cabin for the experience.

Andrew Smith: Tony and Kris were awesome in helping us today - multiple phone calls with Tony about our van and a couple of calls with Kris who sorted us out with a powered site. Very much appreciated!Service: 5/5 …

Paul Croteau: Had a tent site. Was greatLocation: 4/5 …

Noel Cooper: These chalets are still very new. Great location. Has everything you need. Lovely park. We would definitely stay again. Only negative was there was no mattress protector on the lovely new comfy bed. We thought this very odd and not really hygienic. Hopefully these lovely chalets will be kept well maintained and cared for as we would currently recommend over a motel or Airbnb. It was the best accommodation we had during our travels.

Helen Croke: Booked a studio chalet. Great value with all the amenities including toiletries, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, ironing board, extra blankets etc. Bed was super comfy. Loved the double layer blinds. Was a bit concerned driving in to see planes flying overhead but team assured me that I would not need earplugs - they were right. Really lovely park with mature trees, plenty of shade - gardener does a great job keeping things tidy. I like how the accommodation is blended - short stay chalets alongside permanent residents and caravans. Nice to hear happy pets holidaying too. Team at reception were cheerful, welcoming and helpful. Close to city without feeling like your in suburbia. Quiet, peaceful, clean. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

Matthew Francis: Don't know what everyone's problem is. Seen people complaining about the size of the pool, brown grass to a cigarette butt on the ground. Your standards are very high. Partner I enjoyed the stay. Cabin was clean to our standard and i have mild ocd. We put up with the bad wifi, just put his phone on hot spot and streamed Netflix with a laptop and hdmi cable to the TV. Very clean linen and towels. With your team having to maintain so many cabins a day obviously one or two things get missed. Don't let the negative comments get you down. Those people must think they're royalty. Loved the atmosphere and love the discovery parks, weve been to busselton. We will be back here again.

Karrinyup Waters Resort: what do users think?

Nuke Munro: We rent 3 villas, All the furniture all is already new and has been renovated include matrass all bedrooms are new. Looks more update and brand new!!! More secure, they fixed the gate aswell so only who lives there have the password to open the gate. Compare last year I can give this resort point is 10 from 1 out of 10. Definitely will come back for stay on holiday!!!!!The Cafe is amazing, cook perfectly and generous size.

Phill Filing: We stayed in a cabin and the kids loved every minute of their stay. So much for kids to do , great playgrounds and swimming pools. The cafe has great food and nice drinks.Stephanie was fantastic and really helped us going above and beyond in caring to make sure our stay was a positive experience. Thank you Stephanie & all the management team. Top marks!Rooms are a little dated and not need a little more upkeep but nice, clean and appointed with two tvs so again, it’s great for the kids.We will stay again.

Ky Tyler: Great facilities - ablution blocks are kept immaculate and the pools are lovely. Good playgrounds.Very cramped together and ground is very uneven for tent use - uncomfortable sleep due to this.Concerned about the myriads of children on bikes, scooters and skateboards without helmets.

Discovery Parks - Perth Airport: what do users think?

Lee Young: This is quite a large park with sites to suit all types of setups. The facilities are clean and well placed within the park. The staff are friendly and know a lot about the area.Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Great value …

David Woodrow: Excellent friendly and helpful staff.

Muhammad Uwais Muhsin Muaz: Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value

Stephanie Gillies: Cleanest bathroom facilities!!!! Friendly and very accomodating staff! Our site was spacious and shady. One of the best caravan parks I’ve stayed at.

Nakor Rider: We love it, clean, tidy and an awesome pool right out front if you get the right cabin.

Charlie Chives: Very accommodating & super friendly service from the lovely ladies in reception & lads on site.Great pool, really clean, modern amenities. Boom gate security, short drive to local supermarkets, shops, fadt food & fuel.Thank you for storing our van whilst we were away, great service.

Andree Lasar: and we got a late checkout because our return flight wasn't until 5:30 p.m took place, a wonderfully well-kept park with great shower rooms/toilets, a very nice pool with lots of sun loungers, including in the shade, everything was very clean, absolutely quiet and absolutely recommended*****

Pam Duck: We visited Discovery Parks-Perth Airport 3 times in the last 4 weeks. For Christmas and a trip to the zoo on Christmas Day something I've always wanted to do, then to pick up and return our kidlings and grankidlings to the airport, each time the staff and especially Jenny greeted us with a smile and a chat. Our last stay, a couple of guests had mechanical issues needing us on another site. We would of been happy with a standard site however we got upgraded to the ensuite sites which was lovely of the staff to do that for us and to also accommodate the couple in trouble, we noticed a couple other guests this park had helped during our stays, the staff are genuine and understanding people. This is a beautiful park and well managed with the kind of reception you want after a long drive or even a short one, their too nice. The utilities are spotless with an amazing pool area. At Christmas it was lovely seeing all the happy kids getting around the park. Being located near the airport you would think, oh no the noise, no there isn't much at all from the airport. It is just around the corner from a great shopping centre and parks for walks out of the caravan park. For further shopping a quick trip to the DFO at the airport, Belmont or Cannington. We sadly had to leave but when we are back in Perth this will be out go to park to stay in.Nearby activities: Shopping.DFO outlet.Close to parks and sporting grounds.Close for drives up the ranges.Safety: The park felt safe and secure and family orientated.Walkability: 20 min walk to shops just down the road.Noteworthy details: The staff!

NIGHTRAIN K C: Just visiting friends here, can b a busy place but seems nice , did look at stayn in cabins but went in to town insteadLocation: 4/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Kid-friendly …

Regan Kelly: Great service! Absolutely covered the kids entertainment! Comfortable and spacious cabins! Would recommendHotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …

Walyunga Campground: what do users think?

Treat People With Kindness TPWK: Tiny, peaceful little campground. Only 5 campsites but worth it.Restrooms: Bush loo is clean and well maintained.Picnic area: Table can be found in the area for a picnic.

Martin Jowsey: Well kept campground. When I went it was a little windy but the trees provided enough shelter so it was very comfortable in the tent. When you book online you get the combination to open the gates so that you aren't looked in. I wish that I brought some firewood.Restrooms: The 2 drop toilets were clean and not smelly.

Diane Sulayao: .- Each camp site’s got a fire pit for bonfire.- It’s gated and closes at 5pm but you’ll receive a code for the gate through email if you book it online.- It’s very close to the city/surrounding suburbs yet not too close as it still feels very nature-y.- There are heaps of places to visit around the area.Cons- They lock two gates at night, one of which cannot be unlocked by campers, which means when you need to leave at night

dunnoman2 Same: Lovely place to camp 🏕. There are also hiking trails, river, bbq spots, etc.I go camping and picnic here very often.Drop by the site to setup and go have bbq, after go for a walk on the short trail. At night we set up a camp fire and chill out with lofi music and simple dinner.Recommended or dont because it is very popular to the local and get booking out quickly. I recommend book at least 2 weeks early and call up the day before you come out for your entry code except weekend. The office dont work on the weekend.

Erica Almeida Gomes: Lovely experience, near by the city with a good camping site demarcation. Lots of space between sites. Every camp spot has a table and a firepit. Drop toilet, no shower. Syd's rapid is a nice spot for a walk. The only problem is that the gate requires a code for access but it's only provide it by phone during office hours, and I did my booking on a Saturday. Lucky I saw a volunteer after few hours I was on the park. Would definitely recommend.

Kylie C: I loved the size of this space. Only 5 camp sites made for a far more intimate experience. Lots of road for our son to ride his bike up and down, toilets nice and close to camp sites. Toilets lovely and clean, no smell. I also love that you have to go through a padlocked gate to get to the site. It gave me a sense of security I sometimes feel lacks at other places when I'm surrounded by more people.

Ciju Sebastian: Beautiful place for camping

May Lee: Fantastic & cozy . 💕💕💕💕💕

David O'Donnell: Nicely located closed enough for a quick drive out to sleep under the stars, far enough that you feel like you're out of the city and in nature. Plenty of curious kangaroos around the site. The camping grounds are smaller than the online mud map would suggest. But it's nice to have a table and fire pit at each site. There are toilets here also.

Ash E: Nice place for family camping. Lots of things you can do such as Kayaking. Highly recommended

Camila Jimenez: Really nice place to for not too far from Perth, either for camping or just spending the day. They have canoes and paddle board for hiring and a very readable prince, half hour canoe $16 and I can say that 1/2 hour is enough. The water seems to be good for a swim as there were a lot of people swimming, but it is not my cup of tea.Free parkingRestrooms: Clean and close to everythingPicnic area: Nice and tidy picnic area

glenn guevarra: Great place to spend with friends and family. Plenty of parking, toilets and park tables.

wellman ziwenjere: Good place to be...quiet and nice

Matthew Peters: Didn't camp but went for the morning. Glad we got there early because it got busy around 10 o'clock. Awesome chilled out spot. Water was still warm in March.

Allan Bett: I'll be back for some canoeing. Amazing place!

Dennis Bishop: Great for birdlife, kayaking, very beautiful and accommodating with cafe, picnic areas and loos!Edit.Apparently the cafe is closed permanently now.

Maddi’s world of dance: Best camping experience. Great locality, friendly and helpful hosts. Clean, tidy. Would give 10 stars. We are DEFINITELY coming back.Restrooms: Clean tidy
