Great fish & chips within the city! Not too busy as well on a weekday afternoon. May take a while to be ready, but everything was piping hot and fresh. I got a lunch box (a piece of fish and 2 calamari, with chips). Owner/chef was hilarious, made my afternoon Highly recommended!

The cod was so well marinated and was still moist after being deep fried! It's culinary perfection! Calamari rings were well breaded and nice too! The serving was too huge for 1 person to finish but the hand cut chips were great!

Fish and chips is one of my favourites. Grand Lane Fish house makes the very best I have ever had and I'm 70 years old. Delicious and very reasonably priced. I went on Sunday 24 for lunch and it was packed. It my new go to for fish& even though I have to take a train into the city to enjoy this treat.
