Bowmen of Melville is a family-friendly and socially-oriented club. We are affiliated with Archery Australia and are always welcoming new members.

We hope you will enjoy your time with us. Our members range from learners to (before-they-were-famous) Olympians – archery can be a competitive sport, but it can also be a very sociable sport that includes every level of participation.

Archery knows no boundaries. It is suitable for everyone: young or old, male or female, disabled or able bodied.

Whatever bow style you shoot (recurve, compound, longbow, or spreading your enthusiasm across several divisions), you will find a niche that fits you in this club.

We have regular club shoots every Saturday afternoon starting from 1:00pm unless otherwise stated in our shoot calendar.

Come and Try is open to anyone wanting to get a feel for Archery.

Please note restrictions on the number of people at each session apply. Registration is on a first come first serve basis.

Registrations open at 9:00am and close at 9:30am sharp unless the session is full earlier.

Kalamunda Governor Stirling Archers archery club is based in the beautiful foothills of Maida Vale, Perth, Western Australia. The grounds are set in quiet bushland and provide an excellent backdrop for target shoots. Come and join us either in our Saturday morning beginners sessions or as a member in the afternoon shoots. Sunset Coast Archers is located at the beautiful Lake Monger Reserve next to Lake Monger in Wembley.

We are affiliated with World Archery, Archery Australia (AA) and Archery Western Australia (AWA) and shoot from 8.00am - 11am* every Sunday.

On the first Sunday of each month there will be a session provided at the mid-morning break for you to record your archery technique.

Bring your phone (or camera) so that a recording can be made of your technique.

These recording are an ideal opportunity for you to see what you are actually doing.

All members and beginners should be at the grounds by 8:00 am to help set up for the morning shoot. Please do not "leave it for someone else" to do.

Don't forget to be sun smart for sunny days. Always wear a hat, sunscreen and bring a bottle of water.

Tank tops and camouflage style fatigues are not appropriate clothing when shooting. Club polo shirt is preferred.
