Not a problem! Our beginner onboarding programs are specifically designed to give you the basic skills you need to jump into regular classes. In addition, our friendly, no-egos community is super supportive and we LOVE sharing our passion for martial arts and fitness with people who are just starting out.

Nope! Our classes are designed to suit all levels of fitness. You will be able to work at your own pace, and we will work with you to ensure you improve in every session. You’ll be fitter than you’ve ever been as long as you keep coming!

We have classes running from 6am through to 8:30pm weekdays, as well half days on Saturdays. This means you can train before work, during the day, in the afternoons, or in the evenings. There’s a time for everyone!

No! One of our core values is safety. You will be working with other beginners, coaches, and the rest of the CAIA community in a safe, fun environment. Our focus is on providing great workouts, world-class tuition, and fun. Levels of contact are strictly monitored in classes, and we make sure that you progress in a manner that is both safe and comfortable for you.

Firstly, you’ll meet the coaches and other members of the community. We’ll run through a warm-up and basic fitness and drills, and we’ll make sure that you know exactly what you are doing. From there we move on to skill development - techniques and principles and you'll get to practice them with other people in lots of fun drills. We’ll work with you to make sure that you understand each step and what you need to do. Lastly, we’ll look at application, meaning we’ll show you exactly when and where those techniques work, and we’ll try them out together in a variety of situations. And, of course, make sure that you build your fitness throughout!
