In 2020 Intuitive Reiki chose to innovate and take all of our popular Intuitive Reiki workshops into a virtual training room and we are now proud to offer the choice of learning face to face online via zoom or in-person in-room.

Although Reiki is a hands-on practice, Lisa and her team found a way to take their support and courses online so that people could still access the support of Reiki when they needed it most, in a time of stress and overwhelm. They also went as far as making sure national accrediting bodies still endorsed their programs so that students felt confident continuing their study with IRI. Many Reiki businesses closed their doors and decided to wait out the storm however, IRI innovated and challenged the status quo and we’re successful in showing up when people needed their services the most.

It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and if the level of this energy is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A Karuna Reiki treatment is facilitated by the light touch of the practitioner’s hands starting at the head and moving down the body ending at ones feet.

You will feel warmth and sometimes heat radiating from the therapist’s hands along with an immediate sense of calm. The session takes place in a quiet treatment room for 60-90 mins.

Clients lay on a massage table remaining clothed and are covered with a blanket for their comfort. It is advisable to wear comfortable clothes.
