James Parker Sushi & Sake: what do users think?

Martin James: The sashimi is so so fresh we haven’t had better and the platting is phenomenal. Also have the Wagyu n Uni roll which were so delicious we ordered another. There you another amazing Wagyu dish but can’t remember the name, it was served cool and came with ponzu sauce jelly. So yummy. Definitely worth the money if you would like a memorable meal👌🏼

Maz Imbwe: Amazing...I struggle to think of a better description of the experience. The food was outstanding and certainly the next-level compared to everything else I have tried in Perth so far.Staff were very knowledgeable on their drinks and food suggestions, we were well looked after by our wait-staff and sitting at the sushi bar meant we could ask questions of the chefs and they were more than happy to discuss the food.Miso soup was a step up from any other example I have tried. The Sashimi selection was so fresh, the South Australian scallops just melted in my mouth...these alone would bring me back.Pork-belly was unbelievably soft and the Wagyu beef roll was both surprisingly generous and filling. The price reflected the quality of the experience and was about what I was expecting...satisfaction matched the outlay.

Jeremy Norel: I'd say for lunch it's a little pricey for the serving size at lunch, but it was still fair. This was my first visit.. it was busy, you can see people like it. I took a seat there is limited seating, but overall I was really impressed with the friendly staff and great selection in food. I'm glad I found it today it's a nice place to find. Definitely recommended.

Nobu: what do users think?

Andrea Pragnell: Shaine our waitress was absolutely amazing and attentive. She made our evening very pleasant and memorable. She designed our degustation meal from the a la carte menu which we couldn’t fault at all. The service and food was absolutely amazing. Thank you for making our 17th wedding anniversary a memorable celebration. Andrea & Lee Pragnell

Briony Drummond: We had the chefs choice omakase menu which included 8 dishes. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted amazing. Every dish was explained to us in detail as they came out. Being a fine dining restaurant I was pleasantly surprised by some of the sizes of the dishes that came out, they were a bit more substantial than I originally would have thought. The service was faultless, very attentive and hospitable. It is very expensive but I would recommend coming here for the experience.

Tansawa Modern Japanese: what do users think?

Bruce Mitchell: An absolutely stunning meal served by authentic Japanese staff.Take a tip: it is the rice that will fill you and that is cheap. The main course you choose will flavour the rice and make it memorable.Take a look at the sake paddle too: three shots of top-class sake.I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Lisa Maree Baker: Yuki - Gave her Signature Smiles & Service ..Chose -Amazing Little Banquet...Balcony Style - Awesome-Crew inside..2 x Cold Sake- the Bomb-Miso - 4 + dishes ..Yes !!! Small- Presentation & Tasty 😋Hotel Suites - Traffic flow of Peeps

Craig Crampton: An exceptional place for Japanese food. The portions could be a little bit larger but I didn't go away hungry. Presentation and flavour were 5 star. Staff were brilliant and I had some time to speak with the owner because of my background. Reasonably priced compared to other restaurants I've been to.Will be back next time we're in the area. This is a great place to support

Helen Croke: Never judge a book.....this is authentic fresh top quality japanese cuisine with a fabulous range of sake. The team here are 5 star. Thanks for a terrific evening

Marumo: what do users think?

James Gatti: I feel as though I am doing myself a disservice by giving Marumo an honest review considering how hard it is to get a booking. It is, hands down, the best restaurant I have been to in Perth. The food was completely flawless. There was not a single element in a single dish that was anything other than amazing. Nothing short of perfection.

sam chea: . A playful duck on miso eggplant boasts the exotic, and the comfort hand woven prawn and salmon belly sushi bring you back home, with many stories in between. 13+ years and still as busy and impressive as ever, can’t recommend enough, I’ll be lining up again when the next season opens!

Declan Cahill: The best Japanese food I have experienced and even beats the food in Japan. Simply amazing 👌👌

Don Merritt: We started out with an octopus seaweed salad, fried oyster rice edamame dish, sashimi that melted in your mouth, duck, sushi with incredible flavour a beef tenderloin. Desert was a vanilla bean ice cream. There is no menu or choice, they simply announce the courses as they bring them. Definitely not a restaurant that would suit a fussy eater or someone with food allergies.Service was delightful and the 24 seat restaurant a cozy environment. It was not expensive $95 per person plus $2.50 corkage

Roisin B: Well we waited years to get a booking here but it was 100% worth the wait. Great, high quality produce, excellently plated and just full of flavour. Couldn't fault any aspect of our visit. The staff were so friendly and kind, they really made our night. BYO alcohol. Very well priced for the quality of food. We will definitely be booking again!

Shige Restaurant: what do users think?

Lumpe Mayu: I’m a Japanese from Singapore. At first I was surprised that there was only 2 people maintaining this restaurant. But the food came really quick and it was sooo delicious. The salad was fresh and luscious‼︎ The chef cooks efficiently without unnecessary steps. The store was very clean and the bathroom floors were shiny. The udon noodles are chewy and authentic. Great work! ! The real Japan is here.

Santiago Renteria: Minimal homely atmosphere with top-notch fish. Make the most of your time here enjoying the sashimi and complement with house Sake for a light and heartwarming meal. For a fuller meal, mains are generous and accompanied by rice or salad with signature sauces. Service is not instantaneous so be patient, this is not fast food but a finely crafted culinary art.

李沫禾: Arrived 20:25 , saud kitchen close at 20:20, if u dont want run business, u can say we close at 20:00 rather than put a closing time at 21:00. Nice place . 👍

Widjaja Limawan: I and my wife went to try the combination sushi and ordered udon as well. The sushi roll and nigiri are so fresh. The moment we eat the nigiri, I said to my wife this is like japan. We have been to many Japanese restaurants here in perth but shige is probably the most authentic Japanese food we have come across. Thank you for your service. W will definitely come again. 🙏

Ha-Lu Japanese Tapas Restaurant: what do users think?

Peter Biasin: I love Halu. I've been here at least 5 times over the course of a number of years. The chefs and team never fail to impress. It is truly a unique Japanese culinary experience in Perth.Parking: The section of Oxford Street in Mt Hawthorn that Ha-Lu is situated usually has ample vacant strert parking.

Craig Smith: Delicious foods and great service. The dishes were very flavoursome and a great place for a group.Parking: Lots of parking on the street free on a Sunday

Alexander Zhdanov: I recently had an exceptional dining experience at this Japanese tapas restaurant. From the moment I entered, the service was prompt and friendly. As it is a small restaurant, I highly recommend making a booking in advance. One dish that stood out to me was the Tuna toro onsen egg. It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering a second portion! However, I am already looking forward to my next visit in order to try other enticing dishes.During my dinner, I had the opportunity to try eight different dishes, including dessert, and I can confidently say that everything was delightful. The scallops and duck were particular highlights for me, and the quick service ensured that all eight dishes were brought out in about one hour and fifteen minutes. The staff were incredibly friendly throughout the meal.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience. The combination of exceptional food, friendly service, and great atmosphere make it a truly memorable place.

Kay Burn Lim: Food was exceptional. The service was prompt and friendly. It's a small restaurant so bookings are essential. My favourite dish was the Tuna toro onsen egg! It was so good, I had to order a second portion!Looking forward to going back again to try other dishes. The pork belly at the next table looked amazing and the chicken karage portions are huge.

Smay: Very attentive staff. You can tell the authencity of this place from the moment you step in the restaurant. Can’t find any fault to this place. Food tasted good and fresh. My only opinion is though traditional, the selection on the dining menu is very limited . Would love to come back more often again if the menu can be updated with more choices.

Loekito Soephomo: The food is YUMMY. Recommend Japanese food in the area. Their Sashimi is fresh.. the food is also very good. Good place for hanging out with friends. Definitely will come back again soon. Support your local business!* forgot to take a picture of the food. Because to hungry and to delicious. *

홍재원: This is a pearl-like restaurant that I found while traveling in Australia for a month.First of all, the service and satisfaction level of the staff was very high, so I was very happy and satisfied from the time I received my order until the time I left.Second, I felt that the quality of the food, from appearance to taste, was at least 1.5 to 2 times better than other restaurants in the same price range. The ingredients themselves were fresh and had a rich taste. In particular, the lineup of alcoholic beverages was clean, so it was nice to enjoy everything from beer to sake and cocktails.Thirdly, the atmosphere of the store itself was very clean and trendy, so I was enjoying the atmosphere even before the food was served, so I looked around without even knowing that the food had been served. Also, the location of the store is not far from Perth Station, so it was easy to enter while looking around.I've been to this restaurant several times over the past month and have never been disappointed. When I visited, the very friendly staff were fluent in Korean and Japanese, so even if English was difficult, you could still order, so it would be a good idea to stop by at least once. However, parking, which is a chronic problem in downtown Perth, is a bit difficult, so it would be better to park your car in a nearby parking lot.Recommended menu: Nori taco, Finger lickingood chicken, Volcano ramenVegetarian options: A menu for vegetarians is also available.Dietary restrictions: The ingredients were listed at the bottom of the menu, so I was able to ask for them to be omitted or substitute ingredients.Parking: Please note that parking is free on weekends and in the evening after 6 p.m.

Christine Sun: but otherwise I absolutely love the atmosphere too :

Ruben Sanchez: Great Japanese restaurant with very cool dishes. The staff is amazing, very kind, and helpful, especially Haru. She went above and beyond with my order. Also, many thanks to the chef. The food was delicious.A great restaurant is perfect for a casual date, catch-up with friends or solo eating.I'll be back to try more dishes.

David A: Atmosphere: 4/5

Tina Litchfield: A small beautiful Japanese restaurant with amazing delicious food and friendly smiley staff.A must try*Fresh Oyster with Salmon Caviar, Ponzu Ginger Jelly* Miso Black Cod with Broccolini*MATCHA PANNA COTTA served with adzuki red beans

angie huynh: I've been to Kiri few times, every visit is fantastic. The food and the service are great, overall very enjoyable. However, a little bit disappointed on last Saturday's dinner. I ordered a Miso Parfait for my dessert. The waitress came out with the Milk Tea Parfait, said it has changed from last night, is the same thing just different flavour. This is very impolite and unprofessional, if the customer orders an item which is not available. As a courtesy, you have to tell the customer, so let the customer make the decision whether to try out this new flavour or to pick another choice. I didn't want to spoil the atmosphere in front of other guests, so one little mistake can make a huge impact on the overall dining experience.Although we were not impress on this sole experience, but will still come back as it has been great at all other times. Hopefully this will not happen again.Vegetarian options: The vegetarian green soba is really good!!

Maryanne Chan: Visited Kiri for the first-time last week after hearing good things about it. Small restaurant but tables are placed a good distance apart, so not intrusive but creating a nice cosy ambience. Started off with Dengaku eggplant that had 4 generous sized pieces with miso, Agedashi tofu and beef tataki. Main meals were the Miso black cod that was buttery, flaky and rich. Other mains were the Chef tempura selection of prawns, fish and vegetables. Another dish was grilled eel which was delicious, we soaked up the rich sauce with the accompanying rice. Every dish ordered were delicious but the standout was the beef tataki which was melt in your mouth beef with a tangy sauce. Staff were friendly and attentive which added to the overall charm of the place. Surprisingly for the quality of the food, cost was reasonable. Great place to go for fine dining Japanese without the fuss

Meet Ganatra: Superb service and good food!

Marie valere: I Visit this restaurant 1-2 times a week for lunch but was left disappointed on my recent visit. After spending $35 on food, i wasn’t expecting the staff to ask me for an additional 80c for a cup sauce. I understand that cost of living has gone up but no need to be so stingy specially to your regular customer. Im a restaurant manager myself and I sure know how to make my regular customer happy. I hope that type of mindset will change in the future. 80c wouldn’t make your restaurant go broke. However food was very food.

Charlotte Scott-finch: It wasnt over priced and the sushi was the best ive ever had.Definetly recommend
